i am a new owner to budgies. insead of paying to get there wings clipped, i wanted to do it on my own. i wathed lots of different vidios but can i just get soem more advice like how to tell if its a blood feather or not???

Clipping a bird's wings

You don't need to worry about blood feathers if you are clipping the ends of feathers, but you need to go to your avian vet or a breeder and let them guide you the first time.

If you hold the bird too tight or squeeze when the bird starts to wiggle, you may break their hollow bones and kill the bird. Please get in person guidance the first time.
