Bird falling off perch
by: The Vet

It is not normal for bird to fall off of the perch at night or in the day. This can be caused by many things such as epilepsy, weakness, neuromuscular disease, calcium deficiency, and many other things. I recommend that you have your bird examined by an avian veterinarian. You also want to be sure that he is eating 80% of his diet as pellets so he gets a balanced and complete diet.

Sometimes they fall off the perch with seizure activity. I would get him to a vet ASAP.
