cockatiel eye swollen

my cockatiel has no feathers around its eye and the eye is sticking together. its a bright pink swollen area near the place where the eye is closest to the beak

You need to have your bird seen by an avian veterinarian immediately. This is likely an infection, and it could be Chlamydophila, which is contagious to humans. Without immediate attention, your bird could loose its eyesight, or even its life.
