Cockatiel stressed out after beak trim now limping

i took my 5 year cockatiel to get his beak trimmed yesterday at the vet and as usual he didnt like it and seemed stressed out. however when we got home he was acting disoriented and falling over while trying to move around the bottom of his cage. we thought he was still stressed out from the vet visit. this morning however his eyes are open and he looks ok except he is still hopping around the bottom of his cage and still falling over when trying to walk...he even goes to side of cage and leans against it to hold himself up....what could be wrong? could he still be stressed?
