Yes, fruit and watery foods will cause watery droppings. Try feeding the watery foods only in the morning or evening and see if the droppings are normal at the other times.
Also, you should take your bird to an avian vet once a year for a check up. That way if there is something wrong, you will know before things get too bad. Also, the vet is already familiar with your bird if it ever does get sick.
