Cockatile

My cockatile had surgery twice once to remove eggs with unformed shells and removal of her uterus.we were informed she will not form any more eggs.now after two months she is lifting her tail and making the same noises. Is this normal?

Bird that has been spayed.

Usually when a bird is spayed the ovary is left in. The ovary produces hormones that cause the behaviors you are seeing. So, yes, this is normal.
