Cockatoo biting her blood feathers! Why?!

Our almost 3 year old Umbrella Cockatoo Bimini who is very spoiled has just went through her first big giant molt. I just noticed that she has a bloody spot on her chest, and when I looked she had bitten her new blood feather to the point where it bled. I cannot tell at this point if she keeps bugging with it. What should I do? My vet said to keep an eye on it but it still makes me nervous because I am not sure what it is! Ahh!

Thanks!

I gave her a bath today and found she just bit down the white part of the sheath too far, and it isnt an open wound. Im going to keep an eye on it and possibly take her to the vet if i feel it gets worse!

If it is only one feather, then I suspect that the feather was bugging it and it chewed it or something.
