Hi Kathy, Psittavet is an Antibiotic. Your parrot is most probably bringing up his food because he has a Yeast infection in his crop from the Antibiotics. You can't self medicate your parrot everytime you think he is sick. You will need to get him to an Avian vet in order to get the proper medication for this Yeast infection. If it is a yeast infection, the medication is horrible but is very necessary. It is a 7 day course of liquid you need to get your parrot to swallow using a syringe.

Stop using the Psittavet. This is complicating his condition. Never use over the counter medications or stuff purchased on the internet. It will only mask symptoms while your bird becomes worse.
NO DO NOT wait. Seek medical attention immediately.
