baby with hurt foot
by: Anonymous

My 6 month old baby Umbrella Cockatoo seems to be favoring one foot. The baby will put some pressure on the foot, but refuses to grab with that foot. Is it possible that the baby just bruised her foot. What should I do as it is late, and the Vet's office is closed.

Editor's note: If you want people to see and answer, you need to post a question, not an answer here to another question, at Parrot Questions

You will need to Find an Avian Vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.

Please get your cockatoo to a vet immediately. If egg bound, this could be life threatening, as could any condition that woukd cause this problem.
