Bird with crusty eyes
by: Tracie

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is Find an Avian Vet to examine and treat the bird. There is not anything over the counter that is safe and you don't know what is wrong yet anyway.

It could be a disease, or it could be an infection. If your bird drinks from a dish instead of a water bottle then a bacterial infection is a real possibility. Bathing in water that has been sitting for more than 3 hours, has food and poop residue etc., causes bacterial infections.
