Yes, all birds can get lice and mites. This has to be diagnosed by an Avian(bird) Vet in your driving area. Do not take bird to a regular dog and cat vet as they are not trained in how to diagnose and treat birds and will sometimes kill birds from not knowing what they are doing.
Always take bird to Avian Vet for a correct diagnosis. Never give any over the counter medicines even those found in pet stores as these can seriously hurt your bird.
