Conure seizures??? HELP

My green cheek conure looks disorientated and like he is streching or can't control his movements once in a while. Like once a month or less. He freaks out and starts breathing really hard. It takes me a while to calm him down and for him to be able to control his movements. Its almost like he is not fully aware of what he is doing.

I don't have the money to take him to the vet at the moment! does anyone know a bird that this happens too? Any suggestions? It is pretty rare but it has happened like four or five times in the last year. When he comes out of it he is fine...I really hope nothing serious is wrong.
