Cordon Bleu seems to have an obstruction.

Yesterday my bird was fine. This morning he was eating but seemed to have difficulty swallowing. Kept stretching and twisting his neck. Later he started panting and breathing faster and heavier. He appears to have an obstruction in the neck area.Has not passed stools today. I have placed him in a small cage with a heat lamp and gently massaged his neck area. Should I add something to his water to keep him alive? P.S. I am a nurse
