crop is still full after 4 hours

i have an nearly 5 week old ringneck an i was told by the breeder to feed it every four to five hours but i have notcied today wen i went to feed it at 6pm an its crop was still full. and it was trying to bring up food or something. can yu help me coz i was told it could be an infection

I agree with Tracy. Get this bird to a certified avian vet NOW!! Do NOT wait. If it survives and after the vet has seen it, take it back to the breeder and demand that they finish handfeeding this bird.

This is what really gets me about some breeders. It's all about the money, not the care of the poor baby birds!!!

No, Dr B can not help, because you need to find out the answer NOW not 4 or 5 days from now. Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird in person.
