Don't know If I Need to be concerned or not. HELP!!

by Evona
(Asheboro, NC)

my boss has an amazon parrot that I look after-She has started tucking her tail and making these weird noises. she is almost 30 years old. I have been around her for the last 18 years and have never heard her do anything like that before. This will go on for several minutes then she quits and is fine. She has done this once or twice before. She has been sleeping alot to during the day. I don't know if I should be concerned or not. HELP

Bird tucking tail and making noise
by: Tracie

It may have something internally wrong causing discomfort or pain. Dr B can't tell over the Internet, because your bird needs to be examined in person. Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird.

Let us know what you find out.
