Double Yellow Behavior changed since we moved

Hello, I have a double yellow parrot who is 28 years old, that I have had since he was a baby. I just moved after 21 years (living in the same house) into a new house. Some days he is talking and singing, other days he has his back to me when sitting on his perch. Some of the time he stays in his cage when he can come out, or he sits on the very back of his cage outside on the top. I always let him out of his cage when I am home. He has perches all over the house, so he is usually with me when I am in a different room.

He is also flapping his wings alot, and he never used to do this before we moved. He isnt crouched down flapping his wings, he just flaps them.

Aging parrot with changed behavior

Yes, your bird needs to be seen by an avian veterinarian. He is nearly geriatric, and should be examined at least annually, bi-annually would be better, for check ups.
