Double Yellow Headed Amazon Parrot

I have a parrot (double yellow headed Amazon) ...... How can I know if it is male or female? In which age (he or she) could be ready to marry?

You will have to take your bird to an Avian(Bird) Vet to have a DNA test done to tell whether it is male or female.

Your bird does not ever need to marry because there are already too many birds around, and they sometimes end up in bad homes. A friend who lives in another cage would be good company for him, but do not put them into same cage as this can cause fighting. Keep them in their own cages and once they get to know one another better, you could allow them to play outside cage together while someone is always watching them to make sure they don't fight. Make sure your bird's friend is about the same size so one will not try and hurt the other because it is too small.
