Double yellow headed amazon hand fed - not eating formula

Our double yellow headed amazon always ate a whooping 40 cc's of formula. I woke up on Monday to fed and he didn't eat but 12 cc's and then for lunch feeding spit out food. He ate a little more that night but not like he was eating at all. Same thing happened this morning. I might have got 20 cc's all 3 feedings but he just let's it fall out of his mouth. What's going on?

Baby amazon not eating formula

If your bird is not eating solid food to make up for this, then you need to Find an Avian Vet for your bird right away.

If your bird is old enough, it may be trying to wean itself and trying to communicate it wants pellets now instead of formula.
