Eating less and loosing weight in summer?

Hi Have alexandrine parrot and Grey parrot now a days we have summer here temperature is in between 35-43 DEGREES.
My question is (Is this normal with parrots that they eat less in summer?) I CAN see my both birds eating less,normal diet is (Fresh veggies, fruit and Hagen pellets all day at night bit seed mix ) to satisfy their hunger but they are loosing weight is this normal.
NOTE:- BOTH BIRDS ARE HIGHLY ACTIVE AND PLAY AND TALKS ALOT ALL DAY.
NOTE:- GREY PARROT IS MOULTING.
Please answer my question.

Yes I would say 20 gr in one month is a concern, especially if you already know your other bird is maintaining it's weight and your grey is eating less. That alone should tell you to be concerned. I would take the bird to a vet.

Good luck with him and I hope it isn't something serious.

Grey have lost about 20 gram in a month while the Alexandrine is in normal weight.
We have 35-43┬║ Celsius here but have observed my grey eating less now a days... is this to concern?

Maybe it depends on how much weight your bird has lost. I have always been told by my avian vet weight loss is only a concern if it is dramatic or sudden.

I guess they can fluctuate a little just like us. Here we have 35 - 46 c heat and my birds may lose a tiny bit of weight but it's never a lot and it's not suddenly either, it's a tiny bit at a time. They eat the same too.
