 Bird pulling up carpet

Because it is something to do, and it is bored.

Did you know that your bird could die from chewing toxic items in your carpet, get trapped somewhere or get stepped on by being allowed to walk on your carpet? The dyes in the carpet are even toxic, so if your bird is chewing as it pulls, it could be slowly poisoning itself.

Please read our Toxic / Non-toxic for birds list and keep your bird either on the cage, a bird stand or someone. Never allow the bird to roam your house.
