egg laid yesterday she is not sitting on it (red rump)

my female red rump has laid her first egg yesterday and she is not sitting on it should i be worried? how do i tell this egg is fertile and if she wont what do i need to do to help the baby survive

Bird laying eggs

1) Throw the egg away, before she pecks into it and gets poisoned.

2) If the bird doesn't have a mate, then the egg is not fertile.

3) Since you do not have breeding experience, please do not allow your birds to breed, if you do have a male in with the bird.
