electus parrot

by Birdlady

My bird Max is having trouble holding on to his perch & sometimes it seems as a person thats had a stroke. His nails are the proper leghth. Sometimes at night he falls while in his cage. And when my husband gets him out he isn't grabbing on to him like he usually does. When my husband gets Max out he brings him to our bed because we don't want him to fall & brake anything. Max will flip over onto his back & its very difficult for him to role back over. Please help!!!

Parrot needs an avian vet
by: Tracie

This is something that can only be diagnosed and treated in person. It could have an infection, a tumor, or any number of things causing this. Bless you for caring for your bird.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.
