Face Cyst - Greenwing Macaw

I have a 1 year old greenwing who has a tiny bump on one side of her face behind her eye and the bump I am concerned about is right above her eye and is getting larger. Is this common and is it a cyst of some sort?

Bumps on Macaw face

Dr. B answered this recently for another Macaw owner.

Macaws commonly have allergies and they sometimes present with these red bumps. It can be other things too so it is something that needs to be looked at by an avian veterinarian.
