feather color change in older conures

My green cheek and my blue-crowned conure have both started to get yellow on what was normally green feathers. Is this normal?

Feathers changing color

This is not normal and can be caused by several things. Nutritional imbalances are the most common cause, however, poor lighting can be to blame as well as disease. I recommend that you have your birds seen by an avian veterinarian, and be sure to feed a pellet diet. Harrison's is the best and it should be 80% of the total diet.
