Feather loss

If your female is losing feathers on the back of her neck then the male may be plucking her as she cannot reach the back of her neck.

Get her checked ASAP.

if she is sick, then you need to act fast.

You need to take your bird to see an avian vet in person, sorry. It could be an infection, disease or behavioral. You might wish to read Dr B's Feather Damaging Behavior article for a better understanding.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.
