 Bird lost feathers on stomach

Please read our Feather Damaging Behavior article that was written by an avian vet. Then, Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird to rule out health issues.

It could be that something inside is bothering the bird, and it is pulling the feathers out because that is the only way it knows to try to get to what is bothering it. It could be a disease, it could be behavioral, but only an exam will help you determine what is wrong and what the best treatment is.
