feathers missing

this bird i received yesterday and i find this issue with her a 29 year old a double yellow naped amazon. Under wings its bare No feathers just a bare skin no redness or other problems i can take care of. HELP

Amazon with feathers missing

Birds have a natural bare patch under their wing. Typically it is more noticeable when they are wet and of course when they stretch their wings.

However, Amazons do not commonly feather pluck but the bare spot may not be normal. You should have your bird examined by an avian veterinarian. This could be a medical issue such as dry skin, allergies, or other illness.
