Honey stick is junk food for birds

Yes, because it is not healthy. It would be like providing ding dongs and fast food burgers for your kids and wondering if they would be healthy or sick.

Your bird should be eating 80% healthy pellets like Harrison's and only 20% treats. Colored pellets and Zupreem pellets are junk food, so they don't count as healthy pellets. Lefeber nutriberries are junk food too, and only considered as treats.
