Not normal for bird to lose feathers on head
by: The Vet

Feather loss to the point of bare skin is not normal. Is your bird caged with another bird? Does he have access to another bird at other times? Was he tested for PBFD (Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease) virus? What is his diet? Does he drink from a water bottle? Does he have a full spectrum light? Is he rubbing his head on a toy? Is he exposed to tobacco smoke?

These are questions you need to ask yourself to help find the answer.
