Green cheek conure eye issue

Hello, While feeding my yellow sided GCC today, I noticed that it looks like there is a seed hull, or a seed in her eye. I tried to get it out for her, gently pushing on her eyelid, but every time I tried it went deeper under her eyelid. At one point I felt like I had a hold of it, but it seemed to be attached. I'm now worried that it could be a mass of some sort. I'm not sure what to do.

Bird with something in eye
by: Tracie

You can offer water in a shallow dish, in hopes that the bird will bathe, and if it is a seed hull or something it will come out.

IF the item is still in the eye, then you must get the bird to an avian vet. Besides the bird being uncomfortable and needing to get this fixed, the bird could end up with an infection that would take it's life.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined if this continues.
