growth on beak of budgie

We have a budgie who is about 3 years old she has a growth on on the r/hand side of her beak that is about 2 mm in size (3/16 th. of a inch)it looks like a human wart with the top taken off. Is this growth a threat to the birds well-being and does it need a Vets attention Thank you.

Growth on bird's beak

This growth could be a problem for your bird. It could be a malignant tumor, usually a squamous cell carcinoma, but treatable. It could be something else, but either way it could interfere with eating and preening. You should have this looked at by an avian veterinarian.
