half moon conure loss of appetite and inactive

In the past month I have noticed Cisco has become much less active, less talkative, actually has fallen from his perch at least once, sleeps more in daytime, and has lost appetite. In the past couple of days he seems to have trouble eating hard foods. I gave him some mushy banana this morning, that he did eat. Cisco is 29 years old, has always been healthy and active. His feathers look fine. Please advise.
