High pitched squeal

Why does my 4 month old cockatoo produce a high pitched squeal when I hold it?

It sounds like holding it may hurt it in some way. If you've not had your bird examined by an Avian Vet in the last year, then now is the time to do so. The squeal sounds like bird is indicating pain in some area, and this will need to be checked out during an examination by a licensed and trained avian vet only.
