Hind toes folding forward on baby conure

I have a 3 month old Jenday who folds one of the hind toes (the inner one) forward on each foot and never unfolds it to hold a perch or finger properly. Is this something s/he will grow out of as it gets bigger and stronger? If not, are there any exercises I should do to train it to use those toes and get them pointed backwards?

Bird toes facing forward
by: The Avian Vet

The causes of this could be many. I see it primarily caused by nutritional deficiencies, particularly during the hand feeding process. This is not normal for a 3 month old conure. I recommend that you have your bird seen by an avian veterinarian. You can try physical therapy to get it straight, but you should attempt this only under the supervision of an avian veterinarian.
