Hole in chest of baby parrott?
by: Linda

No, this is very, very far from normal. You need to take this bird to an Avian Vet as an emergency if they don't have an appointment available right away. Whatever this is, either a wound or some kind of infection needs to be looked at and treated by an Avian Vet in your driving area. Do not take to regular dog and cat vet as they are not licensed or trained to treat birds.

Whatever is wrong here is serious enough to kill you bird in a very short time. Please do not delay taking it to avian vet. The mother or father bird could have hurt this baby which would mean all of them are in jeopardy.
