Bird with "hot" feet
by: The Vet

Bird do not develop a fever. Their normal body temperature is 105┬║F. The feet may be warm because he was tucking them to nap, or he was active and playing, increasing his blood flow. If they are not discolored, he is probably OK. However, being quieter than normal is concerning and you should take him in to see an avian veterinarian within the next 24-48 hours.
