The only way to know for sure is by DNA test they sell the kits online if you can get a blood sample from your bird , or take the bird to the vet and they will do it there a drop or smear of the blood is put on this little cardboard & mailed to a dna testing place and then you'll get the result.BEFORE ever doing the test my Vet told me the bird is most likely a female he said there are signs to look for in a female one was the shape of the eyes the boys have a more rounded eye & girls like the teardrop point and he also showed me underneath the tail at the very tip of the red tail feathers females tend to have a silver tip to the red tail feathers my bird had the teardrop eye , and the silver tips I still had her tested and turned out she was a female i could have saved my 30 bucks . good luck
