Hyperactive Budgie??

Hi, i recently brought a baby budgie who is about 6 weeks old. He is already hand tame, but he seems to be extremely hyperactive at times, especially when people are around. Is this normal for a baby budgie? will he grow out of it?

All new birds are scared of everything in their new home which includes all people, pets, their cage, toys.

We also strongly suggest that all new birds be taken to an Avian Vet for an exam within the first few days because a lot of new birds already have infections which can only be diagnosed and treated by an Avian Vet.
