Itchy bottom on bird
by: Tracie

You need to take your bird to an avian vet if you suspect illness or parasites. Over the counter products often cause more health issues and then when you finally take the bird to the vet it is difficult for the vet to determine what is really wrong. Your bird could die as a result of using these products also.

Since I can't observe your bird, I do not know what may be wrong. Parasites is not a normal problem. It could have an infection or it could be hormonal and wishing to breed also.
