i need to know if my conure has a cyst?

i have a 1 yr. old green cheek conure. when i was petting her on back i felt a bump so i move the feathers and i saw a bump. it was small but i worry because i reccently had a hamster with a cyst and he died.i know there 2 different species but still. oh and she has a boyfriend and so i want to know if it will spread on her boyfriend.

Yes, left untreated your bird could die, especially since you don't even know what it is or what is causing it. Also, your bird may be suffering and this will certainly stress your bird and could cause more health issues.

You will need to take your bird to an avian vet to determine if it is a cyst, tumor or what.
