hi my 5 years old cockatiel is throwing up looking calm tending to sleep all the time i have no avian vet in my area please help me

Streptophenicol not appropriate for your bird

thank you tracie for your answer for my post ill cockatiel, i finally found a vet and he diagnosed infection he indicated streptophenicol capsule that i open and dissolve in the water it drinks .im not quite sure that this is the right treatment because he is not an avian vet can you please tell me if this treatment safe ,is there any harm on my cock from that? thanks so much.

Sick bird and no vet

Oh how I wish I could help. There just is not anything I can suggest. There are not any over the counter things that help all sicknesses. You have to have a prescription for exactly what is wrong. You need to Find an Avian Vet you can at least call. Maybe they can tell you someone close to you that you don't know about.
