indian ringneck parrot

I have an aviary with opaline grass parrots and indian ringnecks. the grass parrots have 6 young. One ringneck has started going into their nest, so far it hasn't hurt the young. Will it????? It also seems to be stopping the parents from feeding their young. What do I do???

Thanks for writing, and get the ringneck out of there and put into another cage. Don't keep these two species of birds together as the ringneck's are very aggressive, and what is happening now is going to cause the loss of this nest of babies.

YES, THIS BIRD WILL KILL THE BABIES, SO GET IT OUT OF THERE AND INTO ANOTHER CAGE IMMEDIATELY SOON AS YOU READ THIS.

I love the ringneck parakeets, and they do tend to need to be caged with others of their kind.

Good luck and God's speed!

Linda
