Injured parrot/love bird

I would be grateful if you advice me how to treat the injured leg of female parrot/ lovebird while trying to fly in the room. Her leg and stomach part of body has rotten and bad smell is coming. How can I treat myself at home with medicine and care.

There is not any advice I or Dr B can give for you to treat your bird at home. You must get your bird to an avian vet for treatment ASAP. Dr B can not treat your bird or prescribe treatment over the Internet and he says to NOT use over the counter medications, they often cause more problems while the original problem gets worse.

Please update us on how things go with the vet. I hope your bird will be able to get better. It doesn't sound good from what you describe.
