Black rubber dog tire toy

I think that it is probably safe for your bird. Monitor your bird from sneezing, scratching around the nares, face, or ears, and for any changes on the feet. If you see any of this, then take away the tire.

When in doubt...

Do not do it ,til you ask your avian vet if its ok. Me personally I would'nt,just because I too know that smell an since I love my bird I am very cautious as to what she plays with she gets toys that are specifically made for her breed. Birds are very chemichal sensitive my saying is better safe than sorry. I hope this helps.

Rubber dog toys and birds
by: Tracie

Dr B will eventually answer this, please do NOT give this to your bird until he answers. If it smells bad, it probably has petroleum in it and it is bad for your dogs too.

So many toys come from China and they have no concern if it is safe for your birds. (Not all toys from China are dangerous though.) If we sell it on this website, then it has been approved by an avian vet for birds.
