Alexandrine parrot baby

hi. ive got a 3 month old baby alexandrine and she's quite healthy(a tad bit fat even). Her area between throat and breast seems a bit swollen up. I dont know if its normal or not. but ive grown really close to her and i dont wanna lose her :( . Please tell me if something is wrong. I wouldve gone to a vet but finding a good avian vet is close to impossible here so I dont wanna take the risk of false diagnosing her.

Does the "swollen up" area go up and down? (Meaning it looks swollen after it eats, but the lump gets smaller later.) If it does, then it is just the crop. If it stays that way, then it may have ingested something it shouldn't have, and you have no choice but to take the bird to an avian vet for help.

You can use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.
