Is my yellow sided conure sick?

My yellow sided conure used to be very chirpy and happy, but since this morning she doesn't want to eat anything. She is just drinking a little bit of water. Her droppings is also yellow and almost like water? What can be wrong?
I am from South-Africa and we don't have a avian vets around in my area.

Unfortunate for you that there is no vet as this is the BEST way to determine any concerns for a birds health.
There are many factors that could change the color of a birds feces. Change in diet is the most probable outside of it being sick. If he continues to act normal this is a good sign. Sick birds normally tend to hide that they are sick naturally. Try feeding it the normal things that you would feed it. Many times if the bird is very young, it may have watery stools because of the baby bird food. I have always heard that it is a good sign if an animal can drink and hold water down without vomitting.
My email address is (removed so they don't get spam. Please use our contact form if you would like to contact this person and I will pass it on to you.) should have any more questions. I will be more than happy to do all that I can to be with you during this time of concern without a vet. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know how your bird is doing.
