is vicks warm vaporizer harmful for my quacker parrot??

my doctor recommended the use of a warm mist vaporizer(vicks) in our bedroom. our quacker sleeps in our room and we have not used the vaporizer for fear that it will be harmful for her.

Vicks is NOT safe to use around birds

Yes, this would likely kill your bird. You will need to put the bird somewhere in the home where it will not breathe the fumes from the Vicks. Even Febreeze has been known to kill birds, when used in the same room as the birds.
