Thank you for yr feedback... I shall keep an eye on him and take him to vet if he looks agitated by these two things.

It would be a good idea to take him to your avian vet to have a gram stain test done to make sure he has no bacterial infections. The toenail pull may be just to remove dirt from his toenail, but if he is only doing that with just one of his nails, it could indicate something else that needs to be checked out at the vet.
