kakariki with bad eyes

hello, we own a believed to be female kakariki and lately we noticed her eyes have been missing feathers around them and the skin looking a little raw, it doesn't look infected but you can see her eyes are a little more lemon shaped than big and round
she also rubs them sometimes which we think is making it worse

we have changed her drinking water to chamomile tea, and dripping a chamomile tea and saline solution mixture into her eyes every night and out treating her with ivermectin
any idea on what it could be?

My recommendation is to immediately discontinue all drops in the eye and give her back her water. The chamomile tea is not going to help her, especially by dropping it into her eyes.

She needs to be seen by an avian veterinarian immediately. This is not something that you can treat at home. Also discontinue the ivermectin, it is not going to help her eye problem, unless it is caused by mites. And even then, you need to use this drug only under the supervision of a veterinarian.
