Yello lump on neck

my male kakariki who is about 4 years old and 3 months has developed some sort of a yellow, soft, possibly liquified lump on the back of his neck, left side.

he hasnt been eating much lately and after he took a bath recently i noticed how incredibly skinny he was. so im not sure if parrots are supposed to have 2 holes right and left side on the back of their necks. but he does have and one of them has a yellow lump.

he has been on the bottom lately. and his feathers are not looking well on his back. but his stomach looks healthy as normal.

i did take him to the vet last week but then i had not noticed the lump yet.
and i didnt get much help.

oh and one more thing.

its turning green :s and im super super worried.

my vet had given me a cream " soother plus" and i read on the back that except from soothing and healing wounds its also antibiotics and for skin infections so i tried putting a bit of it on the lump.

now that i have explained this all. i really need to know what it is. and what kind.

and possibly how to fix it. i know im supposed to go to the vet... ill get an appointment tomorrow morning.

Dr.B i know...

the problem is we dont have an avian vet here in iceland.
we do have normal vets for all pets. but most of them specialice in dogs, cats or horses.

i had a soother plus cream and i out that on and the next morning it was gone. so i was going to check and see how he does on the weekend. because he seemed more energetic and happier.

however tonight i found out its coming again. so i decided to put a bit more cream for now.

and on monday ill get an appointment with a pet hospital and hope they know what it is. and if they can fix it.

otherwise he is eating well now. and looks fine and happy.
but his back and that yellow thingy says otherwise. :o/

thank you for your answers though :)

Bird with yellow lump

I cannot diagnose this form these pictures. This is an abnormal lesion and I recommend that you have your bird examined by an avian veterinarian. Find an Avian Vet
